Open Days 2011" is the first augmented reality cross platform application : only one development for 2 different OS : iPhone and Android. It is the result of collaboration between OpenPlug and dekaps' for Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs during the event "Open Days 2011".
This application will enable you to get information during this event in Villarceaux (demo descriptions, how to come, Villarceaux site guide...) It will allow you to explore Villarceaux site by using Augmented Reality technology: How does it work? Just film your environnment with your mobile phone and get key information on the buildings around you by clicking on each pop-up.

Tetra World Congress

dekaps' a développé à l'occasion du tetra world congress une application sur tablette Android qui montre ce que la réalité augmentée peut apporter dans le cadre d'une intervention pompiers. Des pop-ups indiquant la position des points d'eau, médecins, zones dangereuses et caetera s'affichent sur l'écran du pompier pendant son intervention. Cette application intégre également du contenu panoramique 360° réalisé par dekaps' mixé avec de la réalité augmentée géolocalisé.

Mobile World Congress 2011

Using this application, developed specifically by dekaps’ for Alcatel-Lucent for the Mobile World Congress, visitors will be able to:
  • Explore Barcelona, inter alia, with a 3D tour of the city, a Metro map and all of the practical information they need (buses, taxis, the Metro, restaurant addresses, etc.).
  • Explore the Alcatel-Lucent stand with a description of the different demonstrations which will be taking place on our stand and a list of useful contacts.
Visitors who have the application will also have at their disposal all of the information they need to get to the FIRA in Barcelona, as well as a 3D map which will help them get around the 29,000 m2 of the FIRA easily, and especially, find their way back to the Alcatel-Lucent stand!

Finally, visitors will have the opportunity to play around, using their iPhone, and take away a batch! But they need to do one more thing: find the dekaps’ logo on the Alcatel-Lucent stand, and point their iPhone over it; they will instantaneously find out whether they have won: the batch will be theirs!

Innovation days

Dekaps' develops for Alcatel-Lucent an Augmented Reality application during their Innovation days. The application is designed to meet the needs of localization within a huge site located in France (Villarceaux).
